Released on October 8, Marvel Encyclopedia: New Edition features hundreds of new and expanded entries compared to the exceedingly popular 2019 edition.
Created by Marvel’s best historians and comic book experts, the 2024 Marvel Encyclopedia is a 500-plus page hardcover featuring over 1,200 characters, their adventures, and how they fit into the wider Marvel comic book universe. It’s packed with artwork from Marvel comic books and has a stylish cover illustrated by Marco Checchetto.
If you own the 2019 edition, there’s obviously considerable overlap here, but the 2024 edition adds key moments from the past five years of Marvel comics. The 2019 edition was 448 pages, whereas the 2024 edition is 512 pages (64 more pages).
